One of the toughest problems we found on the machine shop floor is hoisting the fixture plate and fixture up onto the tombstone and getting it into position to insert the locators.

Over the years, many shops have used dowel pins and other accessories that tend to be very cumbersome to align the locator holes.  We’ve taken it to the next level!

We provide a simple docking station that permits you to drop your fixture plate directly onto the tombstone and it’s within .0015″ of the locating holes. Simple, fast, efficient!

In many smaller machine shops that manufacture on a Just-In-Time basis with short production runs and lots of set up changes we’ve developed a quick change knob that expand clamps right into the SpeedLock mounting screw.

We often get asked about the the tightening torque using this method. When you consider that the 13mm Speedloc has a max fighting torque of 13 ft/lbs we’re pretty confident that just about every machine operator can hand tighten to those values!

When you consider that older competitive products can only be tightened to 1 ft/lbs on the 13mm we’re pretty sure that the hold down force on your fixture with the SpeedLoc will still exceed our competitors!
